Immersion Programs
I offer several longer programs throughout the year including a 9-month apprentice-style program, a winter intensive, and weekend immersions. Below are the weekend immersion programs for 2026 that still have space available:

Cape Cod Herbal Immersion
May 23-24th, 2026
$375-430
Welfleet Mass Adubon Register here!
Immerse yourself in the plants of Cape Cod! In this two-day course, we will explore the medicine of the trees, shrubs, and wildflowers of the dunes, fields, woods, and wetlands.
We will spend the weekend hiking the different ecosystems of Cape Cod, learning about the plants we find. Baskets in hand, we will begin with a stroll along the beach to harvest beach rose petals to make into tea, infused honey, and elixir. Could anything be more euphoriant? We will learn the principles of ethical harvest and how to work with the plants and their chemistry to make effective remedies.
We will ask, what does it mean to be a human in relationship with our ecosystem? How can we look to our ecosystems for healing, and how can we, in turn, heal our ecosystems?
Come prepared to delight in the wonder of plants and leave with a bounty of herbal remedies to share with your community!

Deer Isle Herbal Immersion
July 24-26, 2026
$150-$650 including camping and meals
Deer Isle, ME (location will be sent to registrants)
Register here!
Immerse yourself in the plants of Deer Isle!
In this weekend-long immersion, we will make our home on the shores of the magnificent Firefly Cove, a tidal cove that is swimmable in high tide and mud flats in low tide. There will be space for kayaking, potentially some sailing, swimming, sauna-ing, and more.
We will spend the weekend hiking the different ecosystems of Deer Isle, learning about the plants we find. Baskets in hand, we will respectfully harvest abundant medicine and bring it back to the Cove where we will make teas, tinctures, salves, creams, and more. As we make medicine, we will learn about the chemistry, lineage, stories, and pharmacology of the plants with which we are building relationships. We will add them to our meals, along with clams we harvest from the sea.
Join us to build beautiful, rich relationship with the ocean and the plants she tends.
Unfortunately the 9-month apprentice-style program and winter intensive are full for 2026. If you’d like to find out what programs are coming up you can…
